Transparency - Short Thoughts on Leadership

coaching_transparency

Like a jellyfish floating by, it might sting. From the depths of darkness unknown, we look for light to see through and find our way. There is no void so great as where the human soul can sometimes reside. If transparent, at least a soul is exposed to light. I let other views of my words and actions penetrate with laser pain precision in hopes that an inner cancer will be cut out. Perhaps it is a cure to my disease of cynicism, greed, and willful negligence. When transparency is avoided, an epidemic develops and spreads like body snatching aliens. We cease to be ourselves, because we no longer see ourselves. Personhood becomes lost in the self-deluded lies. Effective people begin with personal transparency.
